Dr Vuyo Bomvana has had experience in running a private
practice, and had clinical experience obtained at Ekurhuleni Oral Health
Services. Apart from dentistry, he was involved in community upliftment
initiatives as a founder member of Community Youth Empow’ament – a non-profit
organization. Its core responsibilities involved setting up libraries in
schools in Soweto and surrounding areas; offering Saturday school classes to
learners in high school and supporting the Soweto Hospice in Mofolo.
